Yesterday I checked what I knew instinctively: Radiohead are the soundtrack of the new Europe. I am not referring to the eastward enlargement, but the Erasmus program. Altos, low, blond, Italian, Greek, Belgian, Austrian, ... all are silent when they sense that the bottom of the choirs and alcohol, someone has picked up a guitar and started banging on Creep chords awkwardly. And then close their eyes and proclaim to the angry neighbors who feel different from each other. Because at the end of the day for that matter: to sing the same song with someone who is just the opposite as you.
Kisses, hugs, a "I'm going to miss" that is diluted in a "write me" and ending up becoming a "never agree to." And despite everything, the time is true: nothing appears, no cheating or cardboard. Perhaps, twenty years later, men turned into gray, gray and lasting friends, remember these fleeting friendships, tears hyperbolic, with melancholy. The party is over. And while, in every corner of Europe that only lasted for a few months there where I had a few beers, our hearts still scream silenced by what we are today:
I'ma creep I'ma weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I do not belong here I do not belong here
